MP3 goes surround sound

MP3The inventors of the file format MP3 have taken the format to a new level. MP3s can now have surround sound. Germany's Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (Fraunhofer IIS) and France's Thomson SA have added two new elements to MP3 Surround demonstration software: MP3 SX (MP3 Stereo eXtended), which enhances MP3 stereo files for multichannel playback; and Ensonido, which provides portable MP3 Surround sound using stereo headphones

thats cool. It will be nice at home but I use MP3's to DJ and that wouldn't do me much good :)
